Demographics Mobile is located in Southwest Alabama at the head of Mobile Bay, thirtyone miles from the Gulf of Mexico. It is the second largest metropolitan area in Alabama and the State’s major port.Our community in Mobile Bay Area is comprised of Mobile County, the City of Mobile, and Baldwin County that totals over 558,139 residents. Having a unique geographical location on the Gulf Coast, CCR is also able to recruit volunteers from Mississippi and Florida.
